How You'll Be Judged
Each entry is independently assessed by expert judges against five weighted criteria - scored against the award criteria, not against other applicants.
How strong, original and well-engineered is the product or technology? Judges evaluate the depth of the build, technical depth, and the quality of execution across the initiative, including the engineering and product work that delivered it.
What measurable outcomes were achieved, and are they verified by data and financially or operationally significant? Judges evaluate the scale of improvement, quality of evidence, and the significance of results relative to the starting point.
How significant was the challenge, and what constraints made it difficult? Judges assess the scope of the initiative, organizational complexity, resource constraints, and the degree of difficulty involved in achieving the results.
Was there anything distinctive about the approach? Judges evaluate creative problem-solving, novel application of methodologies, unique combinations of tools, and fresh thinking beyond standard textbook application.
Has the impact been sustained and is the technology able to scale? Judges assess evidence that results were maintained over time, control mechanisms are in place, and that capability or approach has been shared across the organization.
